Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media File” at the prompt or from the Notification shade
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and navigate to the audio files on the PC storage
  4. Copy and paste the desired files to the phone storage, namely in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” folders
  5. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access “Sound” > “Phone Ringtone”
  3. Select the desired ringtone

Change the Ringtone for a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts stored on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Press “Save” to confirm

Change the Notification Alert:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound”
  3. Tap “Default notification sound” and select the desired notification ringtone

Manage Emergency Alerts:

  1. Open “Messages” and tap “Menu”
  2. Tap “Settings” > “wireless alerts”
  3. Enable or disable “Allow alerts” “AMBER alerts” “Extreme threats’ and “Severe threats”
