Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- Enable Media File on the phone when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC
- Copy the desired files and transfer them to the phone storage in the Ringtones and / or Notifications directories
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Tap Sound
- Tap Phone ringtone
- Select the ringtone you want to use
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cant be set for contacts stored on the SIM card or the devices internal memory.
- Launch Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone and select the ringtone you want to set
- Tap Save
Change Notification Ringtones:
- Open Settings
- Go to Sound and tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the notification ringtone you want to use
Manage Emergency Alerts:
- Launch Messages
- Tap menu > Settings
- Tap Wireless alerts
- Turn Allow alerts Extreme threats Severe threats and AMBER alerts ON or OFF
