In addition to the Dead ringers (ie voice ringers) the samsungs (n400) do have great Midi sound. The problems is that a lot of people dont get new ringers, and even keep their defauts. It fun watching 20 people reach for their phones on the train.

The Best Polyphonic phone...in my personal opinion is the LG Touchpoint 5053 made for Sprint PCS service. It's the best polyphonic phone made for PCS's Vision service. My second choice would be the Samsung N400 it's got a nice loud speaker the ringers sound crisper and cleaner!

Gotta go with the Sanyo 5350 with the camera - the only downside is the ringers arent extremely loud

I have a Nokia dn have been playing around with Ployponic its not a bad phone but the lates offering with 16+ channel are better than the 4 channel versions its rearlly annoying having to edit out channels

it has to be the 7650 even tho the ring tones aren't that loud at times. the new 7250 is a great one as well. its smaller than the 7650 and much nicer looking. recommened it to all, just wait for the price to drop a little.

i beleive that i would have to say tat the t100 is by far the best polyphonic ring tone fone at the moment!

Sleak and classy, and has very loud tones only thing that lets it down is the games!!

t-100 hands down...only problem is no infrared imo....but if ur talkin strictly the sound...t-100 beats all the rest

I personlly like my new Nokia 6100. It has all the great features and it is a Nokia. More importantly it is small, light, and "doesn't look like a TV remote"!
