Please excuse me if I am posting in the wrong forum -- I am new to this site.

I am trying to find distinctive MIDI ringtones to use on my Treo 600... but Google searches (which is how I found this site) only come up with sites featuring full-length popular songs. I just can't seem to figure out the right search criteria to get the results I am looking for...

I am looking for short tones (2-3 seconds long) that will repeat over and over as long as the phone is ringing (or that will play once when I get a new SMS/e-mail/MMS). Preferably something that will catch my ear when my phone is in a bag or if I have the radio on in my car (but "subtle and groovy" tones are also welcome).

Can anyone recommend a site where I can get some good, distinctive MIDI ringtones? Or provide some that you have come across or created that you are willing to share?

    Thanks in advance.

I suppose you could create exactly what you wanted if you knew how to use MIDI sequencing software to create your own MIDI sound alerts then you could use the Treo MIDI Ring Tone Loader to load from your PC and hotsync to your device. You can download the Ringtone loader here http://www.i-eshop.com/treo
