I was with them for quite some time (3 years) but their reliability has really dropped off in the last 6 to 8 months. I had 2 accounts, 1 for the wife and 1 for me. Just out of the blue you would stop getting texts and couldn't send any any either. Voicemail would stop working and no messages could be retrieved. Their system doesn't save either VM's or text's so all messages are just lost. You have to call them and they reset your account then magically things would start working, then a couple months later it would start having the same problems again. I asked for an explaination of why that kept happening, but they would never respond or at least give me a courtesy call. I've changed both lines to other carriers now. Verizon prepaid for the wife and I'm going to try out H2O wirless prepaid. Will see if either of them have the service problems with texts and voicemail. Very frustrating when you rely on your phone and it's just not working for unknown reasons.

Have used them for about a year now. I have yet been able to send MMS. No big deal because I do not sent many, but it is annoying. Other than that, great service and great coverage! I bought a Blu Pure life mini unlocked and it works fine on Pure Talk, well, other than the MMS thing. I have set the settings according to their instructions over and over and no luck.

My wife has used them for a couple of years and pays $10.00 and has the senior phone. She loves the service.

Pure talk is the best service. You don't even need an unlocked phone to use it. I have an att Nokia Lumia 1520 and not unlocked and it works excellent for $10 a month prepaid plan!

Very satisfied. I was with the new at&t. A month never went by without a billing error. 51 1/2 years with at&t, then bye bye.

PureTalk's SIM card is not compatible with Blackberry phones.

Pure Talk has just told me I can no longer use my unlocked IPhone4 on their network. I realized something had happened earlier this month when I had no signal. Initially they sent a new SIM card, but today they say that won't help because my particular model of iPhone 4 is now just incompatible. I'm not very sophisticated about cell phone tech. Any suggestions?

I have been using their services for about 2.5 years and had little problems with them. I can't say they're the best or anything but get the job done.

Has anyone heard anything good or bad about Pure Talk USA? I came across it online, it seems like the best deal for a pay as you go cell phone that I've seen. The thing that is the most appealing is that they sell SIM cards separately, so I can keep my old, unlocked phone and start calling. I'm coming back to the US from living abroad for a year, and I don't want to go back to the US cell phone world of contracts and having to buy a phone along with a plan. I just want a SIM card. Their coverage seems perfect for what I need, but basically it seems too good to be true. I haven't been able to find any reviews of its service online, which may not be a good sign. Any advice?

earlier post in this thread contained some erroneous information. This SIM card from Pure TalkUSA works in my GSM Blackberry, too. I am going to save a small fortune if this service stays as good as it was today.
