Credo Mobile runs on Sprint's CDMA network, except for their Blackberry Bold, which is marketed as an international phone that uses a GSM sim card (see link below). Is there any reason that I could not put this sim card into a different unlocked GSM phone?
Credo states that: "Once your SIM card is activated, it will be synced with the phone number assigned to your handset. Your SIM card cannot be used with any other phone number or handset."
Is there any truth to this if the other phone is unlocked? Basically, if I go ahead and buy Credo's Blackberry bold, with the intent of popping the sim card into a preferred different phone, do I stand any chance of failure?
