I'm so lost its not even funny anymore...
I need a phone that syncs with Outlook, but I'm not even sure what "sycning" means anymore. there is "wired syncinig" "push sycning" i think i know what "wired" means at least.
basically, i need my phone to provide invites to meetings for work when they arrive, wirelessly. i need to be able to respond to these meetings. and most importantly, i need calendar sharing, where i can see co-workers calendars and when they are available.
will this phone, with any of its 3rd party software apps do this? will any phone other than a blackberry do this?

Re: Outlook Syncing and the Nexus One
The new 2.2 firmware adds syncing to outlook calendars. A feature that was missing from earlier versions.

Re: Outlook Syncing and the Nexus One
When you configure your Nexus One for Outlook, you are able to configure your email check frequency from from 5 minutes to 1 hour (5, 10,15, 30 60 min) or choose "Push". You also have the option of only syncing (Storing) one day's worth of calendar data or as much as 1 month. I typically choose 1 week as a month increases memory storage considerably. I was already syncing my contacts and as pointed out above, you can now sync your calendar if you choose to.
