Grouping Apps On the Home Screen or Launch Bar:
- To create a folder on the home screen, press and hold an app
- Drag the app over to another one to automatically create a folder
- Tap the folder to open it
- Tap the folder's title bar and type in a different name, if desired
- To add more apps to the folder, press the "+" icon > Select the apps and tap "Done"
- To remove shortcuts from a folder, open the folder > press and hold a shortcut > drag the shortcut on top of the "trash can" icon
Arranging Apps in the Apps Drawer:
- While on the home screen or BlinkFeed screen, tap the "Apps" icon
- Tap the button depicting a triangle pointing downwards
- Select how you wish to sort the apps, such as alphabetically. To group apps into folders, select "Custom"
- Tap the "Menu" icon depicted as three vertical dots
- Tap "Grid size" to select how many apps you wish to see on a page
Moving Applications and Folders:
- From the home screen, tap the "Apps" icon
- On the applications screen, tap the icon depicting a triangle pointing down
- Tap "Custom"
- Tap the "menu" icon > "Rearrange apps"
- Press and hold an application or a folder, and drag it in a different location. NOTE: to switch panels, drag the icon / folder on top of the arrow icons
- Once you've made all the desired changes, tap the "check mark" icon
Grouping Applications in Folders, in the Apps Screen:
- Access the "Apps" screen
- Tap the triangle pointing down and tap "Custom"
- Tap the "Menu" icon and select "Rearrange apps"
- Press and hold an app, and drag it on top of another one to create a folder
- To add more applications, drag and drop them in the folder
- To rename the folder, open it and tap the folder's title bar. Then, type the desired name
- When you're ready editing the folder, press the "check mark" icon
Removing Applications from a Folder:
- Open the "Apps" screen and tap the triangle icon
- Select "Custom"
- Tap "Menu" > "Rearrange apps"
- Tap the folder that you wish to open
- Press and hold an app shortcut, then drag it out of the folder. Release the shortcut in the apps drawer
- When you're done removing applications, tap the "check mark" icon
Hiding / Unhiding Applications:
- From the home / BlinkFeed screen, tap the "Apps" icon
- Tap the "Menu" icon and tap "Hide / Unhide apps"
- Mark the applications that you wish to hide, and / or clear the check boxes next to the apps that you wish to unhide
- Tap "Done"
Changing the Lock Screen Wallpaper:
- While on the home screen, swipe the "Status" bar down using two fingers
- Tap "Settings"
- Select "Personalize"
- Tap "Lock screen wallpaper"
- From the pop-up menu, tap "Use home screen wallpaper", or "Use custom wallpaper" to choose a photo from the gallery
Adding a Widget to the Lock Screen:
NOTE: before being able to add widgets to the lock screen, you need to set the proper lock screen type. To do so, go to "Settings" > "Security" > "Enable lock screen widgets"
- From the lock screen, swipe from the right edge until the "+" icon appears
- Tap "+" and select the widget that you wish to add to the lock screen
To move or delete a widget from the lock screen:
- While viewing the lock screen, swipe from the right edge until you see the desired widget
- Press and hold the widget, then drag it to the left or right to move it
- To remove the widget, drag it on top of the "trash can" icon
