How-to: HTC One (M8): Get & enable extreme power saving mode

For some reason or another some carriers shipped the HTC One M8 with an earlier build of software which excluded the talked about extreme power saving mode. If you are missing this feature, all you have to do is go to:

Settings > Software Updates > Check Now

There may or may not be an update available (but there should be). You will need software build 1.54.401.5 and up to use extreme power saving mode.

Once you have the update you go go to Settings > Power to turn on the mode.
