Arranging Applications in the Apps Drawer:
- Tap the "Apps" icon while on the BlinkFeed screen or a home screen
- Tap the button shaped like a triangle pointing downwards
- Choose how you wish to sort the apps, such as alphabetically
- To group apps into folders, tap the triangle icon and select "Custom"
- To choose how many apps you want to be shown on each screen, tap "Menu" > "Grid size"
Rearranging Apps and Folders:
- Tap the "Apps" icon while on a home screen
- Tap the icon depicting a triangle pointing downwards
- Tap "Custom"
- Touch the "Menu" icon and tap "Rearrange apps"
- Press and hold an app or a folder and drag it to a different location
- Tap the "Check mark" icon once you have performed all the desired changes
Creating Folders in the Apps Screen:
- Tap the "Apps" icon from the home screen
- Tap the triangle pointing down
- Tap "Custom"
- Press the "Menu" icon and select "Rearrange apps"
- Press and hold an app, then drag > drop it on top of another app to create a folder
- Drag other apps and drop them in the folder
- To rename the folder, tap it and tap the folder's title bar
- Tap the "Check mark" icon once you've edited the folder
Removing an App from a Folder:
- Launch the apps drawer
- Tap the triangle icon and tap "Custom"
- Tap "Menu" > "Rearrange apps"
- Tap the desired folder
- Press and hold the desired app, and drag it outside of the folder
- Once you've removed the desired shortcuts, tap the "check mark" button
Hiding / Unhiding Apps:
NOTE: while you cannot uninstall pre-loaded applications, you can hide them from the apps drawer. NOTE: Doing so will prevent the app(s) to receive automatic updates.
- Tap the "Apps" icon from the home screen
- Press the "Menu" icon
- Select "Hide / Unhide apps"
- Mark the check boxes next to the applications that you wish to hide
- Clear the check boxes of the apps that you wish to make visible
- Tap "Done" to exit edit mode
Changing the Lock Screen Wallpaper:
- Drag the "Status" bar down using two fingers
- Tap "Settings" > "Personalize"
- Tap "Lock screen wallpaper"
- From the pop-up menu, tap "Use home screen wallpaper" or "Use custom wallpaper"
- Select the desired wallpaper (or image from the gallery) and set it
Adding / Removing a Widget to / from the Lock Screen:
NOTE: in order to have the option of adding widgets to the lock screen, you need to set the lock screen that allows this feature. To do so, access the "Settings" menu, tap "Security" > "Enable lock screen widgets".
- From the phone's lock screen, swipe left from the right edge until you see the "+" icon
- Tap "+" and select a widget for your lock screen
- To remove a widget, locate it on the home screen
- Press and hold the desired widget, and drag it on top of the "trash can" icon
