Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the HTC One S9 to your computer via USB
- When prompted, enable Media device (MTP), otherwise enable the option from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Copy the audio files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones and notifications directories
- After the transfer ends, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch Settings
- Tap Personalize > Ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap Apply
Set a Custom Ringtone to a Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set to contacts located on the SIM card or the devices internal memory.
- Tap Apps on the home screen
- Launch People and select the desired contact
- Tap Ringtone
- Select the ringtone you want to use for the specific contact
- Tap Apply
Change the Notification Alert:
- Open Settings
- Tap Sound & Notifications
- Tap Notification sound and select the desired notification sound to use
- Tap Apply
