    Hey all,

I signed up mainly to try and figure out the solution to my one problem with my friend's phone; he has a Dash from T-Mobile. The problem comes from the ability to transfer files from his Dash to a computer. He has the USB cable, but does not have the software, if it even came with any. I want to transfer a video he took on his phone to my computer; we hooked up the cable and it wanted to search for the correct driver(s), we searched and nothing was found. My question is, does anyone know where I can download the appropriate driver(s)? Or is there any other way to transfer the data? He said he tried sending it to my e-mail address, but nothing came through on my end, so I am not sure what happened there. Please help me, he has the only known video of my car at the track and I would love to have it online. Thanks a lot!

    Robert McManus

Most transfers go through Activesync. You can get Activesync as a free download from microsoft.com. Does your friend have a Dash 5.0 or 6.0? If he doesn't know he can check by going start, settings, more, more, and about. If he has 6.0, he needs Activesync 4.5. Hope this helps.

I have a Dash also. go to Microsoft Mobile and download Activesync 4.5. install it. it will put a sync file folder on your desktop, go into the video folder and drag the video to your desktop or video folder to do what yoy want with it.
