HTC has plans, just like Samsung, to up the number of handsets to be shipped this upcoming 2011. HTC plans on selling 20 million smartphones this year and up to 60 million handsets next year in 2011.

Smartphones will more than likely be the majority of HTC's sales and will be based on Android as well as Windows Phone 7. Which of the two HTC will most likely sale is still unknown, but HTC does have the highest amount of WP7 devices available. Being that said, HTC may come close to selling more Android smartphones in 2011.
