Browsing the Web:
- While viewing the home screen, tap the "Apps" icon
- Open "Internet"
- Tap the "URL box" located at the top of the screen
- Type in your search words or webpage address
- To make the URL box show again, flick down the screen
- To view the full version of a website, tap the "menu" icon while viewing the website then tap "View desktop site"
Opening and / or Switching Between Browser Tabs:
- While viewing a webpage, tap "Tabs"
- To open a new tap, tap "New tab" or "New incognito tab" if you don't wish to save the browsing history
- To switch between tabs, tap "Tabs" and swipe left or right, then tap the desired window
- To close a tab, tap the "X" button associated with the window that you wish to close
Bookmark Management
Bookmarking a Webpage:
- While viewing a webpage, tap the "menu" button
- Tap "Add to" and select "Bookmarks"
- Edit the bookmark name if you desire
- To save the bookmark to a new folder, press "Bookmarks"
- On the "Add to" screen, tap the arrow down button (triangle) and select "New Folder"
- Tap "Done"
Opening a Bookmark:
- When viewing a webpage, tap the "menu" button
- Tap "Bookmarks"
- On the Bookmarks tab, select the bookmark that you wish to open
Editing a Bookmark:
- While on a webpage, tap "menu" and select "Bookmarks"
- On the "Bookmarks" tab, tap "menu" and select "Edit"
- Tap the "edit" button located at the right of the bookmark that you wish to edit
- After making the desired changes, tap "Done"
Syncing Your Bookmarks With Google Chrome:
- Open the Notifications panel, then tap "Settings"
- Tap "Account & sync"
- Select your Google Account
- Select the "Sync Internet" option
Saving Web Content for Later:
By saving webpages you can read then later without needing an internet connection. To do so:
- While on the desired webpage, tap "menu" then press "Add to"
- Perform one of the following:
- To save the webpage to your list, select "Reading list"
- If the webpage contains videos, tap "Watch list" and then select the videos that you wish to watch later
Viewing Items in Your Reading or Watch List:
- While on a webpage, tap "menu" and select "Bookmarks"
- On the "Saved" tab, do one of the following:
- Tap a thumbnail under "Reading list"
- Tap a video thumbnail under "Watch list"
- Tap "menu" to view more options
Viewing the Browser History:
- To view the browser history, open the browser and tap "menu" > "History"
- In the "History" tab, select a time period to see the list of previously visited websites
Clearing Your Browser History:
- With a webpage open, tap "menu" > "History"
- In the "History" tab, press "menu" and select "Clear all"
Setting Up Your Homepage:
- Open the Internet browser
- Tap "menu" and go to "Settings"
- Tap "General" and then "Set homepage"
- Select the homepage that you wish to use
Showing / Hiding Content Compatible with Adobe Flash:
- While on the browser screen, tap "Menu"
- Go to "Settings" > "Advanced" > "Enable Flash and plug-ins" > "On demand"
You can now view Adobe Flash content by tapping the green arrow pointing downards
