Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

  1. Establish a USB connection between the HTC Desire 626s and computer
  2. Swipe the “Status” bar down and enable “Media sync (MTP)” if necessary
  3. In the AutoPlay window on the computer, select to view the phone’s files and folders
  4. In a second Explorer window, locate the desired audio files stored on your computer
  5. Copy the files and transfer them on your phone memory, preferably in the “Notifications” and “Ringtones” folders
  6. After the transfer is complete, click “Mass Storage Device” in the system tray, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect it from the computer

Change the Phone’s Ringtone:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Access “Settings” and tap “Personalize”
  3. Tap “Ringtone”
  4. Select the ringtone you want to use and tap “Apply”

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Contacts stored on the SIM card or the phone’s internal storage cannot have custom ringtones.

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Launch “People”
  3. Tap the contact you want to set a custom ringtone to
  4. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “Apply”

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Go to the phone’s “Settings” menu
  2. Tap “Sound & notifications”
  3. Tap “Notification sound”
  4. Select the desired notification sound and tap “Apply”
