Is this a trick question? I mean, I don't see any good on having such phone.. besides saving battery

If you can live with such phone, I guess its okay

ideally a phone should not automatically turn off or on....this can be because of a faulty battery or the battery not being charged properly...i would suggest get the phone checked at a store and they will tell ya...it may even be because of a virus so you can even get the phone flashed and check...
