VX 5200 Cannot Hear Ringer (<3 Error Code?)

I have a VX 5200 that I can only get to work in vibrate mode. It doesn't matter what volume I have the ringer set to, I still get no ringer sound.

Also, it looks like the display is showing some sort of error code. There is a '<3' in the middle of the display.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

press and hold the * button down for a couple seconds. Sounds like you have the phone in manner mode.

Thanks. I tried that and it actually toggles properly in and out of manner mode, but I still don't get any ringer when not in manner mode. I'm not sure, but somehow it must be related to this '<3' error code that is showing on the display. I can't find anything on this error code anywhere on the net.

I would say take it back to where you got it and have them take a look at it.
