LG CU500 Frozen!!!

I recently purchased a LG CU500 from Cingular and have been quite pleased with the multimedia functionalities and the call quality. I purchased a Sandisk 512 MB MicroSD card for it as well. Everything has been working fine for a couple days.
For some reason though it now refuses to turn on! When I try to turn it on all I see is the Cingular Startup Screen and it stays there frozen. I have tried everything from removing the MicroSD card to removing the SIM card and plugging it into a power source and it still suffers from the same problem. I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and if I should try to wait it out. I have a giant road trip in two days by myself and I need this phone really bad.
