Hi everyone!
newb member here. so i've been looking for a replacement phone, and i kinda wanted to surprise her with one for our anniversary. she is still under 2 year contract (since august of 2009) and currently has lg env2 i believe. anyway, i've been looking at various touch phones and realized that they all (correct me if i'm wrong) require data plans. now, she says she doesn't wanna pay for the data plan (neither do I hehe) so i was wondering if you guys could recommend to me a phone that doesn't require them.

basically here are some features she's mentioned (in rough order of importance):

1. a physical qwerty keyboard
2. threaded messaging
3. touch screen (thought i couldn't find any that didn't require a data plan on verizon.com)
4. chat (aim, etc)
