    Setting up IMAP Email Account

    1. From the Home screen, tap the HOME tab.
    2. Then tap Main Menu.
    3. Touch Messaging.
    4. Tap Email.
    5. Touch NEXT.
    6. Tap Email again.
    7. Select the provider of your email address.
    8. In case the provider is not listed there, tap More -> then tap Other.
    9. In the Email address field, enter your address.
    10. In the Password field, enter your password.
    11. Tap the Username field and enter your username.
    12. When finished, tap NEXT.
    13. Your LG Rumor Reflex S will now automatically search for the email settings.
    14. In case the settings are found, select the desired option.
    15. In case the settings are not found, tap NEXT.
    16. Then tap IMAP.
    17. In the Incoming Mail Server field, enter imap.mail.-your-email-provider.com.
    18. Check Use SSL.
    19. Tap the Port field and enter 993.
    20. Check Use NTLM Authentication, if necessary.
    21. Then tap NEXT.
    22. In the Outgoing SMTP Server field, tap smtp.mail.your-email-provider.com.
    23. Touch the Port field and enter 465.
    24. Check Use SSL.
    25. Check Requires SMTP Authentication, if necessary.
    26. Then tap NEXT.
    27. In case you checked Requires SMTP Authentication, make sure the username is the same as your email address and tap NEXT.
    28. Your IMAP email account has been set up.

    Setting up a POP Email Account

    1. From the Home screen, tap the HOME tab.
    2. Then tap Main Menu.
    3. Touch Messaging.
    4. Tap Email.
    5. Touch NEXT.
    6. Tap Email again.
    7. Select the provider of your email address.
    8. In case the provider is not listed there, tap More -> then tap Other.
    9. In the Email address field, enter your address.
    10. In the Password field, enter your password.
    11. Tap the Username field and enter your username.
    12. When finished, tap NEXT.
    13. Your LG Rumor Reflex S will now automatically search for the email settings.
    14. In case the settings are found, select the desired option.
    15. In case the settings are not found, tap NEXT.
    16. Then touch POP.
    17. In the Incoming Mail Server field, enter pop3.live -your-email-provider.com.
    18. Check Use SSL.
    19. Tap the Port field and enter 995.
    20. Check Use NTLM Authentication, if necessary.
    21. Then tap NEXT.
    22. In the Outgoing SMTP Server field, tap smtp.your-email-provider.com.
    23. Touch the Port field and enter 587.
    24. Check Use SSL.
    25. Check Requires SMTP Authentication, if necessary.
    26. Then tap NEXT.
    27. In case you checked Requires SMTP Authentication, make sure the username is the same as your email address and tap NEXT.
    28. Your IMAP email account has been set up.

    Removing an Email Account

    1. From the Home screen, tap the HOME tab.
    2. Then tap Main Menu.
    3. Touch Messaging.
    4. Tap Email.
    5. Then tap the Back key,
    6. Touch the Account Actions icon located next to the account you wish to remove and touch Delete Account.
    7. Then tap YES.
    8. Your email account should now be removed.

    Sending or Receiving an Email

    1. From the Home screen, tap the HOME tab.
    2. Then tap Main Menu.
    3. Touch Messaging.
    4. Tap Email.
    5. Then tap the email that you wish to open -> the email will be immediately displayed.
    6. Press the Back key to return to inbox.
    7. If you wish to send an email, touch OPTIONS.
    8. Then tap Compose.
    9. In the To field, enter the recipient’s email address.
    10. In the Subject field, enter a subject.
    11. Tap the Body field and enter the desired message.
    12. When finished, tap Send.
    13. The email is now sent!
