Enabling Battery Saving Mode:
- While viewing the home screen, press the "Menu" button
- Tap "System settings"
- Under "Device", tap "Battery"
- Press "Power saver"
- Tap the switch associated with "Power saver" to enable (or disable) the feature

- From the home screen, press the "Menu" button and tap "System settings"
- Scroll to "Device" and tap "Battery"
- Tap "Battery saver" and press "Turn battery saver on"
- Select one of the following options:
- Immediately
- 10% battery

- Auto-sync

- Vibrate on touch
- Brightness

Lowering the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:
- From any of the home screens, press the "Menu" button
- Select "System settings"
- Tap "Display" and tap "Brightness"
- Tap and hold the "Brightness" slider and decrease the screen brightness
- Tap "Screen timeout" and select either "15 seconds" or "30 seconds"
Disabling Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot:
- While viewing the home screen, press the "Menu" button
- Select "System settings"
- Tap "Tethering & Networks" > "Mobile Hotspot"
- Clear the check box associated with "Mobile Hotspot"

- Mark the check box associated with "Restrict background data"
Minimize the Use of Third Party Applications:
- From any of the home screens, press the "Menu" button
- Tap "System settings"
- Scroll to "Device" and then tap "Apps"
- Select the application that you wish to edit
- Press "Disable" to turn off the application
Toggling from 4G to 2G Data Connectivity:
- While on the home screen, press the "Menu" button
- Tap "System settings" > "Networks"
- Scroll down to "Tethering & Networks"
- Under "Network", press "Mobile networks"
- Mark the check box associated with "Use only 2G networks"
Updating to the Latest Software Version:
- On the home screen, press the "Menu" button
- Select "System settings" and tap "About phone" under "System"
- Tap "Update Center" > "System updates"
- Press "Check now"
- If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to download and apply it
