Using iTunes to Transfer iPhone Contacts:

If you have access to a computer with iTunes installed, you can use the software to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Contacts include their images, the phone number, email address and any additional available details. You can then use the Google account to transfer these contacts to the LG Optimus F3Q

  1. Open iTunes on the computer
  2. Use the proprietary USB cable to connect your iPhone to your PC
  3. After it connects, the iPhone will appear in iTunes. Click on it to access the summary page
  4. Go to the "Info" tab
  5. Mark the "Sync Contacts With" check box and from the drop-down menu, choose "Google Contacts"
  6. Enter your Google account log in credentials, if you haven't done so before. Alternatively, click "Configure" and choose a Google account that has been added prior to using this guide
  7. Click "Apply" and iTunes will start syncing your iPhone contacts with the account
  8. On your Optimus F3Q, register the same Google account as the one used in iTunes. (To add an account, go to "Settings" > "Accounts"
  9. Allow the account to sync the contacts with your Android smartphone

Using iCloud to Transfer iPhone Contacts:

iCloud is a backup service that can be used to share contacts from an iPhone via email, in the form of a VCF file. If you've used iCloud before, then your contacts should have already been backed up. To use this method:

  1. Open your computer's Internet browser and visit https://www.icloud.com/
  2. Sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Click "Contacts", and from the list of contacts, select the ones that you want to export
  4. Click the "Settings" icon located in the bottom-left side
  5. Select "Export vCard". A VCF file containing the contacts will now be downloaded on your computer
  6. Once you have it, import the VCF file to "Google Contacts". Alternatively, you can connect your Optimus F3Q to your computer via USB, and copy the VCF file to the "sdcard" directory. Then, open the "Contacts" app and use the "Import / Export" option to add the contacts from the VCF file to your Optimus F3Q's contacts list

Using the "My Contacts Backup" Application to Transfer Contacts:

Assuming that you don't have access to a computer, you can make use of applications such as "My Contacts Backup" in order to transfer your iPhone contacts over to the Optimus F3Q. To do this:

  1. Visit the App Store on your iPhone and download "My Contacts Backup"
  2. Open the app and tap "Backup"
  3. After the backup file containing the contacts has been created, tap "Email"
  4. The newly created email will contain the VCF file as an attachment
  5. Enter your own Gmail address as the recipient, and send the email
  6. Switch over to the LG Optimus F3Q, and open the email
  7. Download the VCF file attachment, and import its contents using the "Contacts" application

Using the "Bump" App to Transfer iPhone Contacts:

Bump is an iOS and Android application that uses cloud connectivity to transfer contacts from one phone to another. For this method, all you need is an active Internet connection on your smartphones. You don't need access to a PC

  1. Use your iPhone to visit the App Store and install "Bump"
  2. Install the same app on the LG Optimus F3Q via the Play Store
  3. Open the application on both devices. If prompted, allow permissions
  4. Grab the iPhone, and swipe until you access the contacts section
  5. From the list of contacts, select those that you want to share
  6. After the "Bump now!" label appears in the top-right corner, bump the two devices together
  7. A "Connect" button should now pop-up on the screen of both devices. Tap it
  8. Your iPhone contacts should now be shared with your LG Optimus F3Q via cloud
