Transferring Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect your smartphone to your computer using the USB cable
- On the smartphone, tap "Media sync (MTP)" when prompted
- On the computer, an AutoPlay window should appear. Click "Open device to view files using Windows Explorer"
- Open a different Windows Explorer window, and navigate to where the desired audio files are stored on your computer
- Copy the audio files that you wish to use as ringtones or notification sounds, and paste them in the first Windows Explorer window, on your phone's storage. NOTE: you can transfer audio files in the "Notifications" and "Ringtones" folder, directly
- Once the transfer is complete, click the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon located in the system tray
- Click "Safely Remove Mass Storage Device" > "OK"
- You can now disconnect your smartphone
Changing the Phone's Ringtone:
- While on the home screen, press the "Menu" button
- Tap "System settings"
- Tap "Sound" under "Device"
- Under "Ringtone & Notification", select "Phone ringtone"
- Select the audio file that you wish to set as your ringtone
- Tap "OK" to confirm
Changing the Ringtone for One Contact Only:
- Tap the "Contacts" icon located on the home screen
- Select the contact that you wish to set a ringtone to
- Tap "Edit"
- Scroll to, and tap the "Ringtone" drop-down menu
- Choose the desired file and tap "OK"
- Press "Save" to exit edit mode
Changing the Notifications Sound:
- Press the "Menu" button while viewing a home screen
- Tap "System settings"
- Under "Device", tap "Sound"
- Scroll to "Ringtone & Notifications" and tap "Notification sound"
- Choose the file that you wish to set as your notification sound
- Tap "OK" to confirm
