Change the Wallpaper:

  1. While viewing a home screen, tap and hold an empty space
  2. Tap "Wallpapers"
  3. Select the type of wallpaper you want to set
  4. Select a wallpaper and tap "Apply"
  5. Press "Home" to return to the home screen

Changing the Wallpaper from "Gallery":

  1. Launch the "Gallery" application
  2. Select an album and tap the image you wish to set as wallpaper
  3. Press "Menu" and tap "Set image as"
  4. Tap "Just once" > "Home screen wallpaper"
  5. Crop the image by dragging the blue borders and tap "OK"
  6. Tap "Yes" and optionally, mark the check box next to "Set on Lock screen"

Change the Phone's Language:

  1. Drag the "Notification" bar down while on a home screen
  2. Tap "Settings" > "Language & input"
  3. Tap "Language"
  4. Select the desired language and press "Home"

Set a Lock Screen for the First Time:

  1. From the home screen, tap "Apps"
  2. Go to "Settings"
  3. Swipe to "Lock screen" and tap "Select screen lock"
  4. Choose the desired lock screen
  5. If necessary, follow any additional on-screen prompts

Adding or Removing Home Screens:

  1. While viewing the home screen, perform a pinch gesture
  2. Tap the "+" panel to add a new home screen (maximum allowed is 7)
  3. To change the home screen order, tap and hold a home screen panel and move it in a different location
  4. Tap a home screen to view it
  5. To remove a home screen, perform a pinch gesture, tap and hold the home screen you wish to delete and drag it on top of the "Remove" area

Adding Shortcuts and Widgets to the Home Screen:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Tap the "Apps" or "Widgets" tab
  3. Browse through the apps and widgets
  4. To add an item to the home screen, tap and hold it, then drag > drop it

Creating Folders on the Home Screen:

  1. Tap "Apps" on the home screen
  2. Browse for the app you wish to add to a folder
  3. Tap and hold the app, and drag > drop it on top of another app shortcut on the home screen. The folder will be created, containing both app shortcuts
  4. Tap the folder to open it
  5. Tap the "Folder" text to rename the folder, and tap "Done" to set it
  6. Change the folder color if desired and tap "OK"
  7. To add more apps in the folder, press "+". To remove a shortcut, tap and hold it, and drag > drop it outside of the folder

Resizing or Moving a Widget:

  1. To resize a widget, tap and hold it until the blue border appears. NOTE: only certain widgets can be resized
  2. Drag the borders to resize the widget
  3. Tap outside of the widget area to set the new size
  4. To move a widget, tap and hold it, then drag and drop it in a different location

Removing an App or Widget from the Home Screen:

  1. Locate the desired app shortcut or widget
  2. Tap and hold the item
  3. Drag the widget / shortcut over the "Remove" button and release it

Adding Lock Screen Widgets:

  1. Press "Power" to put your phone to sleep
  2. Press "Power" again to view the lock screen
  3. From the lock screen, swipe left-to-right
  4. Tap "+" and select the widget you wish to add
