Transfer Contacts using iTunes:

NOTE: If you have iTunes installed on your computer, you can use the app to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Afterwards you can sync the account data with your LG K7.

  1. Open iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect your iPhone to the PC using the Lightning cable
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes
  4. Access the “Info” tab and turn on “Sync Contacts With”
  5. From the drop-down menu, select “Google contacts”
  6. Sign in with your Google account, or alternatively, click “Configure” and select an existing account
  7. Click “Apply” and wait for the sync to complete
  8. Once the sync is done, switch to the LG K7, register the same Google account and allow it to sync contacts with your phone

Export iPhone Contacts from iCloud:

NOTE: If the contacts on your iPhone are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Access “Contacts” and select the contacts you want to share
  4. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. After the vCard has been downloaded on the computer, you can import it to “Google Contacts” or alternatively:
  6. Connect the LG K7 to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use the “Import” option from the “Contacts” app to add the vCard’s contents to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the methods above require access to a computer, alternatively you can transfer your iPhone contacts through third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an app for iOS, which can be used to back up and transfer contacts via email.

  1. Visit the app store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup”. This will create a backup file containing your iPhone contacts
  3. Once the file is done, tap “Email”
  4. Compose a new email and make sure the vCard backup file is attached
  5. Send the email to your own address
  6. Switch to the LG K7 and open the email
  7. Download the vCard file attachment and import it using the “Contacts” app

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party application you can use to transfer your iPhone contacts. The app is available on iOS and Android and uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Go to the Google Play Store and install the same app on the LG device
  3. Open the app on both handsets
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Choose a transfer method. For instance, you can tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the LG K7’s camera to start the sync. Or, you can tap “Receive” on the LG device and enter the transfer code from the iPhone
