Transfer Audio Files from a Computer:

  1. Establish a USB connection between the LG X Screen and computer
  2. At the prompt, enable “Media sync (MTP)”, otherwise enable the option from the “Notification” area
  3. On the PC, open the File Explorer
  4. Locate the desired audio files on the computer
  5. Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Notifications” / “Ringtones” folder(s)
  6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Drag the “Notification” bar down on the home screen
  2. Access the “Settings” menu
  3. Scroll to, and tap “Sound & Notification”
  4. Tap “Ringtone”
  5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm

Change a Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Select the contact you want to edit
  3. Tap “Edit” in the upper-right corner
  4. Tap “Ringtone”
  5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Go to the phone’s “Settings” menu
  2. Tap “Sound & notification” and tap “More”
  3. Tap “Notification sound”
  4. Select the notification sound you want to use
  5. Tap “OK” to confirm
