Back Up App Data:
- On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
- Tap Settings
- Go to the General tab
- Tap Backup & reset
- Enable Back up my data
Back Up Contacts on the SD Card:
- Launch Settings
- Access the General tab if necessary
- Tap Backup & reset > LG Backup
- Tap Backup & restore > Back up data
- Turn on SD card and select the contacts you want to back up
- Tap Start
- At the Backup completed prompt, tap Done
Back Up Contacts on an LG Account:
- On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
- Launch Settings
- Access General and tap Backup & reset
- Tap LG Backup > Backup & restore
- Tap Back up data when prompted, and select LG Cloud
- Sign in with your LG Account
- Turn on Personal data and disable all the other options
- Expand the Personal data folder and select Contacts
- Tap Start
- At the Backup completed prompt, tap Done
Back Up Media Files on Your Phone:
- Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
- Launch Settings
- Go to the General tab
- Access Backup & reset > LG Backup
- Tap Backup & restore and then enable Media data
- Turn off other non-media options and tap Start
- At the Backup completed pop-up, tap Done
Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:
- Connect the LG Stylo 2 Plus to your computer via USB
- At the prompt, turn on Media device (MTP) / File Transfer (MTP)" or turn on the option from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the media files on your phone and copy them
- Transfer the files in the desired backup location on the PC
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect it from the USB port
