Back Up Application Data:
- Launch Settings
- Access the General tab if necessary
- Tap Backup & reset
- Enable Back up my data
Back Up Contacts:
- Open Settings
- Go to the General tab
- Tap Backup & reset > LG Backup
- Tap Backup & restore
- Tap Back up my data and enable LG Cloud
- If prompted, sign in with your LG account
- Select Personal data and turn off the other options
- Expand Personal data and make sure Contacts is checked
- Tap Start to begin the backup
- When finished, tap Done
Back Up Contacts on the SD Card:
- Open Settings
- If necessary, go to the General tab
- Tap Backup & reset > LG Backup
- Tap Backup & restore > Back up data and enable SD Card
- Select the items you want to back up and tap Start
- When completed, tap Done
Back Up Media Files on the Phone:
- Launch Settings
- Go to the General tab
- Tap Backup & reset > LG Backup
- Tap Backup & restore and select Media data while making sure non media options are deselected
- Expand Media data and choose the media files you want to back up
- Tap Start
- After the process is complete, tap Done
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the LG Tribute HD to your computer via USB
- Enable Media sync (MTP) / File Transfer (MTP) at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the PC
- Use the Explorer to locate the desired media files (or .sbf backup file) on your phone storage
- Copy the files and paste them in the desired backup location on the PC storage
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and you can safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
