Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the LG K4 to your computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC
  4. Use the Explorer to locate the desired audio files on the computer
  5. Copy and paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Notifications” and/or “Ringtones” folder(s)
  6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Go to “Settings”
  2. Scroll to and tap “Sound & Notification”
  3. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  4. Tap “OK”

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones to contacts stored on the phone’s on-board memory or the SIM card.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Select the desired contact and tap “Edit”
  3. Tap “Ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access “Sound & Notification”
  3. Tap “More” > “Notification sound”
  4. Tap the desired notification sound and tap “OK” to confirm
