Clear App Cache/Data:
NOTE: In case one of your apps doesnt work as intended, it freezes, crashes, or takes up too much storage inexplicably, you can try fixing these issues by clearing the apps cache/data.
WARNING! When you clear an apps data, all your personal information stored within the app will be deleted. This includes save files, user profiles and settings, login and credit card information etc. To avoid losing personal app data, clear ONLY the apps cache.
- Open Settings
- Access the General tab if necessary
- Go to Apps and access All
- Select the desired app
- Tap Clear cache
- If clearing the cache didnt solve the issues, tap Clear data (check WARNING above)
Clear the Phones Cache Partition:
NOTE: If your phone doesnt work as intended or runs out of storage inexplicably, you can try fixing it by clearing the cache partition. This can yield results similar to a factory reset without losing any personal data stored on the phones internal memory.
- Launch Settings
- If necessary, go to the General tab
- Tap Storage
- Wait for the phone to finish calculating the data
- Once done, tap Cached data > Yes to clear the cache

Reboot to Safe Mode and Remove an App:
NOTE: In case you have installed a third party application that causes issues and prevents you from removing it, you can try uninstalling the app from within Safe Mode. In this mode, all third party apps are disabled by default.
- On the home screen, press and hold Power
- In the power management pop-up, tap and hold Power off
- When prompted to Restart in Safe Mode, tap OK. NOTE: once the phone reboots, it should display a Safe Mode watermark in the lower-left corner of the screen
- Next, to remove an app, first open Settings
- Then access the General tab if necessary
- Tap Apps and go to Downloaded
- Select the desired app
- Tap Uninstall > OK
- After you have removed the app, exit Safe Mode by rebooting your phone as you would do normally, by pressing and holding Power
