Restore App Data:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. If necessary, go to the “General” tab
  3. Tap “Backup & reset”
  4. Under “LG Backup”, tap “Restore from backup”
  5. Choose the desired backup file and tap “Start”
  6. When ready, tap “Done”

NOTE: In order to complete the restore, you may have to reboot your phone.

Restore Contacts from an SD Card Backup:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access the “General” tab
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset”
  4. Tap “Restore from backup” under “LG Backup”
  5. Locate and select the SD card backup file you wish to restore
  6. Tap “Start” > “Done” to confirm

NOTE: You may need to reboot your phone in order for the restore to complete.

Restore Media Files from a Backup on Phone Storage:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. If necessary, go to the “General” tab
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset”
  4. Under “LG Backup”, tap “Restore from backup”
  5. Locate and select the media backup file(s) you want to restore and tap “Start”
  6. When prompted with “Restore completed”, tap “Restart” to confirm

Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the LG K3 to your computer via USB
  2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the desired backup or “.sbf” files you wish to restore
  5. Copy and paste the desired files on the phone storage, preferably in the directories they originate from
  6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device form the USB cord
