Back Up App Data:
- Open Settings
- Go to the General tab
- Tap Backup & reset
- Enable Back up my data
Back Up Contacts on the SD Card:
- Launch Settings
- Access the General tab
- Tap Backup & reset > LG Backup
- Tap Backup & restore
- Tap Back up data > SD card
- Select the contact(s) you want to back up and tap Start
- At the Backup completed prompt, tap Done
Back Up Contacts on an LG Account:
- Launch Settings
- If necessary, access the General tab
- Tap Backup & reset > LG Backup
- Tap Backup & restore > Back up data
- Select LG Cloud and log in with your LG account
- Enable Personal data while deselecting the other options
- Expand the Personal data option and ensure Contacts is selected
- Tap Start > Done
Back Up Media Files on the Phone Storage:
- Open Settings
- From the General tab, tap Backup & Reset
- Tap LG Backup > Backup & Restore
- Enable Media data and disable the other options
- Tap Start > Done to confirm
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the LG Fortune to your computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the media files on your phone
- Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
