Restore App Data and Media Files:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. If necessary, go to the “General” tab
  3. Tap “Backup & reset” > “LG Backup”
  4. Tap “Save and restore” > “Restore from backup”
  5. Locate and select the desired backup files and tap “Start” > “OK”
  6. Once the restore is complete, tap “Done” and wait for the smartphone to reboot

Restore Contacts:

  1. Open “Settings” and access the “General” tab
  2. Tap “Backup & reset” > “LG Backup”
  3. Tap “Save and restore”
  4. Access “Restore from backup”
  5. Locate and select the desired contact backup file
  6. Tap “Start” > “OK”
  7. Once the process is complete, tap “Done” and wait for your phone to reboot

Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the LG X Venture to your computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media sync” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the desired media file backups on the PC storage
  5. Copy and paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory or the folders from which they originate
  6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
