Back Up App Data:
- Open Settings
- Access the General tab
- Scroll to Phone Management and tap Backup & reset
- Tap Back up my data under Google Backup
- Enable Back up my data
Back Up Contacts on an LG Account:
- Launch Settings
- Access the General tab if needed
- Scroll to Phone management and tap Backup & reset
- Tap LG Backup > Backup & restore
- Tap Back up my data and select "SD storage
- Log in with your LG account when prompted
- Select Personal data and deselect the other options. Expand Personal data and make sure Contacts is enabled
- Tap Start > Done
Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:
- Launch Settings and go to General
- Tap Backup & reset under Phone Management
- Tap LG Backup & Restore
- Tap Backup data
- Tap SD Card and select the contacts you want to back up
- Tap Start > Done
Back Up Media Files:
- Open Settings
- Tap Backup & reset under Phone management
- Tap LG Backup > Backup & restore
- Select Media data while deselecting the other options
- Expand Media data and select the desired media files
- Tap Start > Done
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the LG phone to the computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device when prompted or form the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate and copy the media backup files or .sbf files from the phone storage
- Transfer the files to the PC storage in the desired backup location
- Once done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB
