NOTE: You can visit this thread for instructions on how to back up app data, contacts, and media files.
Restore App Data:
- Launch Settings
- Go to the General tab if necessary
- Under Phone management, tap Backup & reset
- Tap Restore from backup under LG Backup
- Select the desired backup file then tap Start > Done
NOTE: you may be required to reboot the device in order to complete the process.
Restore Contacts:
- Open Settings
- From the General tab, scroll to Phone management and tap Backup & reset
- Tap Restore from backup under LG Backup
- Select the desired backup
- Tap Start
- When prompted with Restored, tap Done and wait for the device to restart
Restore Media Files:
- Launch Settings
- Go to Phone management in the General tab
- Tap Backup & reset
- Under LG Backup tap Restore from backup
- Select the media file backups you want to restore then tap Start
- When prompted with Restore completed tap Restart to confirm and reboot your device
Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the LG phone to the computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media sync when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate and copy the media file backups from the PC storage
- Paste the files to the phone storage, preferably in the folders of origin or the Media directory
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
