NOTE: You can check this thread for a guide on how to back up app data, contacts, and media.

Restore App Data:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Phone management”
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset”
  4. Tap “Restore from backup”
  5. Select the backup file you want to restore
  6. Tap “Start” > “Done”

NOTE: You might need to reboot your device in order to complete the restore

Restore Contacts:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Phone management”
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset”
  4. Under “LG Backup” tap “Restore from backup”
  5. Select the backup you want to restore and tap “Start”
  6. At the “Restored” prompt tap “Done”

Restore Media Files:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access “Phone Management’
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset” > “Restore from backup”
  4. Select the media file backups you want to restore
  5. Tap “Start”
  6. At the “Restore completed” prompt, tap “Restart”

Restore Media Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the media file backups
  5. Copy the files and transfer them to the phone storage, preferably in the folders from where they originate
  6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
