Back Up App Data:
- Launch Settings
- Go to Phone Management
- Tap Backup & Reset
- Access Google Backup
- Enable Back up my data
Back Up Contacts Using an LG Account:
- Open Settings
- Access Phone Management
- Tap Backup & Reset
- Go to LG Backup > Backup & Restore
- Tap Back up my data > SD storage
- Sign in with your LG account and select Personal data
- Expand the Personal data option and deselect the other options
- Ensure Contacts is checked
- Tap Start > Done
Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:
- Open Settings
- Access Phone Management
- Tap Backup & Reset > LG Backup & Restore
- Tap Backup data > SD Card
- Select the desired contacts
- Tap Start > Done
Back Up Media Files:
- Open Settings
- Under Phone management tap Backup & Reset
- Access LG Backup
- Tap Backup & Restore
- Select Media data and deselect the other options
- Expand Media data and select he media files you want to back up
- When ready, tap Start > Done
Back Up Media Files on a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable File Transfer / Media device at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the media backup files or the .sbf files on the phone
- Copy and transfer the files to the desired backup location on the PC
- Once the process completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device form the USB port
