Back Up App Data:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access “Phone management”
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset” > “Google Backup”
  4. Enable “Back up my data”

Back Up Contacts to an LG Account:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Phone management”
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset” and select “LG Backup” > “Backup & Restore” > “Back up my data”
  4. Sign in with your LG account and select “Personal data” while deselecting the other options
  5. Expand “Personal data” and ensure “Contacts” is checked
  6. Tap “Start” > “Done”

Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Under “Phone Management” tap “Backup & reset”
  3. Tap “LG Backup & Restore”
  4. Tap “Backup data” > “SD Card”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Start” > “Done”

Back Up Media Files:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Tap “Backup & Reset” under “Phone Management”
  3. Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & Restore”
  4. Select “Media data” and deselect the other options
  5. Expand “Media data” and select the media files you want to back up
  6. Tap “Start” > “Done”

Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the phone to the PC via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the media files on the phone or the “.sbf” backup files you want to back up
  5. Copy and transfer the files to the desired backup location on the PC storage
  6. Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
