NOTE: You can visit this thread for instructions on how you can back up app data, contacts, and media files on the phone.

Restore App Data:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to “Phone Management”
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset” > “Restore from backup”
  4. Select the desired backup file
  5. Tap “Start” > “Done”

NOTE: You might need to reboot the phone to complete the restore.

Restore Contacts:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access “Phone Management”
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset”
  4. Under “LG Backup” select “Restore from backup”
  5. Select the backup you want to restore
  6. Tap “Start”
  7. Once the process ends and you’re prompted with “Restored” tap “Done”

Restore Media Files:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Phone Management” > “Backup & Reset”
  3. Tap “Restore from backup”
  4. Select the media file backups you want to restore
  5. Tap “Start” > “Restart”

Restore Media Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File transfer” on the PC, when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the media backup files on the computer
  5. Transfer the files to the phone storage preferably in the folders from where you backed them up
  6. After the process completes, eject he phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
