Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable Media device / File Transfer at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Navigate to the audio files on the PC
- Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the Ringtones and notifications directories
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Scroll to Device
- Tap Sound > Ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cant be set for contacts located on the phones internal memory or SIM card.
- Open Contacts
- Select the desired contact
- Tap Edit > More > Ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
Change Incoming Email Alert Sounds:
- Open Email
- Tap Menu
- Go to Settings > Accounts & Sync
- Tap New Emails > Notification sound
- Select the desired notification alert
- Optionally, enable or disable Vibrate
Change Emergency Alert Settings:
- Open Messages
- Tap Menu > Settings
- Go to Advanced settings
- Tap More > Emergency alerts
- Turn imminent extreme alerts Imminent severe alerts and AMBER alerts ON or OFF
- Optionally, under Sound and vibrate enable or disable Alert sound and Alert vibration
