Sync iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account and then you can sync the account data with the Android device.
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to Info
- Select Sync Contacts With from the drop-down menu
- Log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once the process completes, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
- Set the account to sync contacts with the Android device
Share iPhone Contacts from an iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Log in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- Follow one of the steps below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts via third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone from the App Store
- Open the app and tap Backup to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- After the process completes, send the vCard to your own email address as an attachment
- Switch to the Android phone and open the email
- Download the vCard and import it to your phonebook using Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use for contact transfer on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring computer access.
- Install the app on both phones from the App Store and Play Store
- Launch the app on both phones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts
- Tap Send and select a transfer method on one of the devices
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
