Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
- On the phone, enable Media device / File Transfer at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Navigate to the audio files on the PC
- Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the Ringtones and Notifications directories
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Access Device
- Tap Sound > Ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: You cant assign contacts located on the phones internal memory or SIM card.
- Open Contacts
- Select the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu > Ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
Change Incoming Email Alert Sounds:
- Open Email
- Ta Menu > Settings
- Go to Accounts & Sync > New Emails
- Tap Notification sound
- Select the desired notification alert and optionally, enable or disable Vibrate
Change Emergency Alert Settings:
- Open Messages
- Tap Menu > Settings
- Go to Advanced settings
- Tap More > Emergency alert
- Turn Imminent severe alerts Imminent extreme alerts and AMBER alerts ON or OFF
- Optionally, access Sound and vibrate and turn Alert sound and Alert vibration ON or OFF
