Back Up App Data:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Phone Management” > “Backup & Reset”
  3. Select “Google Backup”
  4. Enable “Back up my data”

Back Up Contacts to an LG Account:

  1. Launch “Settings” and access “Phone Management”
  2. Tap “Backup & Reset”
  3. Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & Restore”
  4. Select “Back up my data” and sign in with your LG account
  5. Select and expand “Personal data”
  6. Deselect the other options and tick the “Contacts” check box
  7. Tap “Start” > “Done”

Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Phone Management”
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset” > “LG Backup & Restore”
  4. Tap “Backup data”
  5. Select “SD card” and the desired contacts
  6. Tap “Start” > “Done”

Back Up Media Files:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to “Backup & Reset” > “LG Backup”
  3. Tap “Backup & Restore”
  4. Select “Media data” and deselect the other options
  5. Expand “Media data” and select the desired files, then tap “Start” > “Done”

Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC and locate the media files or the “.sbf” files you want to back up
  4. Copy and transfer the files to the desired backup location on the PC
  5. Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
