Sync iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, and then sync the account data with the Android device.
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- In iTunes, click the iPhone
- Go to Info and select Sync Contacts With from the drop-down menu
- Log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once the process completes, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: You can log in with your iCloud account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contact in a vCard file for Android use.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/ and log in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts and select the desired contacts
- Click Settings > Export vCard then follow one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook via Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use the Contacts app to import the vCard to your phonebook
Share Contacts Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: The methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, buy you can also share you iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share contacts over email.
- Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
- Open the app and create a vCard backup file of your contacts
- Compose a new email and attach the vCard
- Send the email to your own address
- On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
- Use the Contacts app to import the vCard to your phonebook
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use on Android and iOS. The app can transfer content between phones over a peer-to-peer connection without requiring access to a computer.
- Install the app on both phones from their app stores
- Open the app on both phones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
