Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account and then you can sync the account data and contacts with the Android phone.
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to Info
- Select Sync Contacts With in the drop-down menu and log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to begin the sync and switch to the Android phone
- Sign in with the same account on the Android device and allow the account to sync contacts with the phone
Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud Backup:
NOTE: You can log in with your iCloud account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android device.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- Follow one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook via Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import the vCard to your phonebook via the Contacts app
Share iPhone Contacts via My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: The methods above require a computer with Internet access but you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to back up and share contacts via email.
- Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
- Open the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Compose an email ensuring the vCard is attached
- Send the vCard to your own email address
- On the Android phone, download the vCard and import it to your phonebook using the Contacts app
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use to share your iPhone contacts without requiring computer access. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types.
- Install the app on both phones from their respective app stores
- Open the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts and select the desired contacts
- Tap Send
- Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the prompts to complete the process
