Am trying to hook up HandsFreeLink (i.e., Bluetooth) with my 2010 Acura TSX. I had my previous phone --- a Blackberry Storm -- connected but am trying to connect the new Droid 2 Global. I've gotten it paired, using the instructions from the Acura website, but it says it's not connected and I can't find anything to tell me how to connect it.

I found some instructions on a Motorola (or maybe it was Droid) website. However, it references all kinds of settings that my Droid doesn't have (e.g, Menu --> Settings --> Connection --> Bluetooth Link --> Setup --> Find Me. I assume this has to do with the Pairing, which I have aleady accomplished, going in the other direction (i.e., from the phone to the car. The 'Connection" part, though, is giving me a problem. The additional instructions include:
Menu --> Settings --> connection --> Bluetooth Link --> Device History --> Device --EDIT --> Select Automatic.
Not only don't I have this setting, I can't find anything anywhere on the phone that allows me to select an "Automatic" setting for Bluetooth. The others I don't have are: "Answer Options = Multi-Key", and "Auto Handsfree = On". I do have "Auto Answer" and have set it to "Off" as instructed. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing here?

Does the Droid or you car have a password?

Are you ever prompted to enter a password during pairing? If so, are you sure you're entering the correct password? In my experience, it's usually either "0000" or "1234".

I always have to pair my phone with my car. The car just seems to lose its memory after being turned off.
