i was going to get a cell phone tommorow and i'm debating b/t the moto rzr black ed. and the moto v710. I want a phone that i can put mp3 from my comp on and also watch videos from the comp too. The looks dont really matter to me that much but i think that they're both pretty close. What do u guys think??

Get the 710, if you want to use your phone for media. The razr only has 5.5 Mbs of memory which sucks, the 710 comes with 32 Mbs and it can be expanded to 128 Mbs. It is also much easier to transfer MP3s, pics, videos, ect from your computer to your phone. Because the 710 comes with a USB memory stick reader, so you just pop your memory stick in that and use windows explorer to copy files between your phone and computer, just like you would with any other removable drive. With the razr you have to use mobile phone tools which is a sucky, buggy program. The 710 also has a much better camera (mega pixel v.s. VGA) and some other features that the razr lacks. The only thing the razr has on the 710 IMO is its form factor, the 710 is a THICK phone, but I think it still looks cool and has a unique swivel design and possibly reception, the razr does get really good reception but I have never used a 710 so it could be just as good. In case you cant tell I regret buying my razr and wish I got a 710. I am having a third razr sent out to me under warranty right now, because my first two have this annoying ass buzz in the ear peace, if my third razr still has the same problem, hopefully I will be able to get a 710 instead. Yeah the Razr is cool for a little while, but the novelty really wares off quickly, esp. when the phone does not work right, I am a function over form man anyway so I should have gotten the 710 in the first place.

the v710 comes with 10mb and can be expanded to 512mb.
Because the 710 comes with a USB memory stick reader
Your bigger question is which carrier you are going to use, the v710 is cdma and the razr is gsm. If you are going to use verizon; know that they disabled the file transfer feature and that you will have to hack it to get it to work... Also verizon offers the e815 which is the newer version of the v710 with more internal memory, a better camera(indoor quality of the v710s camera is subpar), full OBEX and a newer look.

Many people that i know that have the razr dislike it because of a lack of updates.
