Back on topic, , one of those bad boys looked like it had some sort of video phone conferencing capability. 15 frames per second i think it said. Looks to be really cool.

The rzar xx. Rumors have been circulating as to what carrier it's going to but I'm not sure as of yet

With the PTT feature, it seems like it would have to be either CDMA or iDen. I can't think of any GSM providers that have PTT.

Cingular has PTT, but not a big phone selection for it.

I wonder how that RIZR feels in your hand, looks cool.

Verizon sucks. They have take a great phone like razr and locked it down.

From what I've heard the ptt is going to be for cingular, it's a shame too. Nextels really need something to keep them from jumping the shark

The RAZR xx and the MOTORAZR Maxx are both going to Cingular. The KRZR is going to Verizon first, and Cingular will be picking it up shortly after. Not sure about the RIZR, but it's probably going to be a Cingular phone.

The Razr xx looks awesome…however; I wonder when it will actually get to the US. The Razr V3i has been available overseas since Q4 2005, and we are just getting it now, Q3 2006.

As per the website:

The MOTORAZR xx is expected to be available in the second half of 2006.

Which could mean that we won’t see it Stateside until Q2 2007 or even further away. Personally, I’m in the market for a new phone and I think I will probably get the V3i.

Keep in mind that these are links from the moto site. Normally when you go to the front page your ask for your country (as such in this case) and given the list of phones avalible for that area where as if you entered Singapore you won't get the same list of phones as say U.K.

What do you guys think about the Motorazr Maxx? I am not a phone enthusiast but I want a good phone but don't know what edge or anything else is. Would anybody mind explaining this stuff to me and your thoughts on this phone?
