Just like the other times I've dropped it. First the back part got messed up and froze on the same numbers. The front/main screen was still working. I was making calls. Then the back screen started working again. Made some more calls. All good right? Well about 20 minutes later I checked it when I got out of the tunnel and both screens were completely black but the buttons were still lighting up when I opened up the phone. Just like last time. I tried taking out the battery a while, which usually works. I turned it on and off. I plugged it into the charger, battery or no battery. I can still receive calls it vibrates when I get a call, but since I gotta put it on speaker to hear someone, it's hard to receive calls.

Anyway last time it took about 12 hours to fix itself. I forgot how I left it, but after 12 hrs I turned it on again and the screen and everything was completely fixed. I know the phone keeps turning on because the buttons will light up, and will light up when the phone is opened. When I turn off the phone, the buttons don't light up.

Anyone have experiences like mine? Anything you do to make it fix faster?

    Thanks.

This has happened before though. It just fixed itself overnight if I remember correctly. This has actually happened twice before. One of the times it only froze the main screen and distorted the back screen though, even after taking the battery in and out.

Well I took out the battery and sim card for about 5 hours straight, and then tried plugging it in with no battery no SIM (which I had already tried). This time the screen was back! So I put in the battery and sim and it works again! YEAHHHH.

How exactly did you drop it. Did it drop in water? That's what it sounds like.

I didn't drop it in water. I dropped it from about 2-3 feet. That's when it started to mess up all the time. It'll even happen when it's just in my pocket. Since then it's only taken maybe 5 minutes at the most to recover. It happens most often from turning it on and off.

the problem is I didn't get this phone from them, someone gave it to me.

They refuse to replace my old one because they keep saying the battery aint the problem, but it is. I charge it and it never has any charge. The screen never turns on. I tested it with a voltmeter and there is a negligable amount of power coming from the battery. There is a proper sufficient charge coming from the charger though, so that's not the problem. So where can I get a phone without a plan? Where can I go to get one? I dont wanna buy one from anyone, cuz I want it to be reliable. And I wanna keep my SIM card and numbers. I'm just looking for tmobile phones from friends. Or if I gotta, I'll get an old phone from someone unlocked.
