In-Call number inputs not working on my krzr

You know when you call a major buisness and the operator comes on saying "please press 1 for information - press 2 for help - press 3 to repeat. etc etc" this is also how i access my voice mail and for some reason on my krzr k1m it doesn't seem to reconize my inputs. My calls just time out and are ended. Is this a phone problem, or a setting i have to change? thanks

I have had this happen too; if I clear everything off the screen and hit the number again it usually works. (or just press zero a lot for a real person!)
